Music
Music plays a very important part in the service of worship. The hymns alone amount to about one third of our time together and Hanham has a reputation for lively singing of a wide range of hymns and worship songs. The choir is not currently meeting regularly but David Roberts, our organist, hopes to be able to gather singers together to prepare items for the major church festivals.
Music in the Church should also embrace instrumentalists and if you are able to play an instrument please make yourself known to David Roberts.
During the autumn of 2003 the organ was reset to modern 'concert pitch' and instruments can now be used with either piano or organ.
