What do we do?
![]() |
The aim of the pre-school is to provide a happy and caring
environment where children learn to play, gain social skills and become
confident individuals. In order to achieve this aim, a long term curriculum has been designed to be interesting and relevant to all the children. The curriculum encompasses the six Early Learning Goals, as dictated by the Department of Education. Within this environment, children will gain confidence in the basic tasks that will assist them in their transition to school. |
| Current fees are £4.00 or nursery voucher per session, plus £1.00 per term for special events ie the Christmas Party, the "Easter Treat" and other visits. | ![]() |
We are located within Hanham Methodist Church and have three classrooms.

Each group has a leader and a minimum of three helpers, plus
the 'rota parent', which enables us to work to the maximum ration of 1:6. All group Leaders and Assistants have the relevant qualifications required by OfSTED. Staff are provided with regular opportunities to develop their skills by attending training courses, which enables us to maintain an up to date pre-school. |
