Wesley Big Event 


Sunday 23rd June 2003 - 3pm

The hymn 'O for a thousand tongues to sing my Great Redeemer's Praise' was sung by over a thousand people at a service conducted by the Rev Ward Jones, Chairman of the District, the preacher being the Rev Ian White - President of Conference, this being the celebration of the 300th anniversary of the birth of John Wesley. A plaque was unveiled by the Rev Ian White and Counsellor June Lovell, Vice-Chair of South Gloucestershire Council.
